Cars and Coffee on a Cool October Saturday
While a good Bay Area Cars and Coffee is hard to come by these days, there is a shimmering example of how to conduct a proper C&C event. Thanks to the Silicon Valley Motor Club, Bay Area gearheads and auto enthusiasts can bring their existing prized possession or project-in-progress daily driver or weekend cruiser for all to enjoy
An eclectic mix of cars spanning across various marques and generations appear for this once-a-month gathering held in the quiet hills of Portola Valley. Accommodating upwards of 100 cars, there is enough space to enjoy the eye-candy while discovering what else exists within the realm of Bay Area car culture.
An interesting juxtaposition of the car culture summarized in one photo:
Alex and the Response Motors team brought down the NSX and 911 GTS along with Yanni’s personal Volvo S60R and Dane’s Porsche Boxster! This made for a great symphony of exhaust notes as we left the event later, much to the delight of the crowd cheering us on (or so we imagined in our heads).
Other cool cars of note:
Overall, this was a pleasant event and while this was ResMo’s first appearance at this C&C, we will be sure to be back to support the club and the community. The coffee and donuts are pretty good too! Thanks for having us, Winston!
